Tucson Master Plan Update
Jacobsen/Daniels Associates (JDA) participated in conjunction with Landrum & Brown, Inc and the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) in developing a Benefit Cost Analysis for the Tucson Master Plan Update. JDA's role was to provide assistance in the preparation of the proposed development concepts by providing independent perspective and input to the concept development process. This included reviewing various development concepts for terminal, landside, and support facilities and potential scenarios for combining the various functional elements into a composite development plan or plans.
The Benefit Cost Analysis entailed the development of a series of evaluation criteria to be used to select the preferred Master Plan Development Concept. The criterion is reflective of the goals and objectives of the Master Plan Study as well as quantitative and qualitative performance criteria and potential environmental impacts. A weighting factor for the individual criteria was also developed to reflect the relative importance of the various criteria.
