Shaun Gough
Director
Construction & Project Management
Mr. Gough joined the Jacobsen|Daniels team in 2017 with over 12 years of construction and construction management experience. Prior to joining J|D, Shaun worked for one of the nation’s top general contracting firms providing construction management services to various clients on projects ranging in value from $1M to $120M. A majority of his project experience resides at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport where he has and continues to support a wide-range of projects for the Port of Seattle, Delta Air Lines, American Express, and Alaska Airlines. These projects have included minor tenant improvements to full construction and fit-out of high-end passenger lounges.
With an attention to detail and focus on exceeding client expectations, Shaun provides proficiency in pre-construction and construction services, project management, estimating, material procurement, commissioning, project closeout, and executing projects on schedule and within budget. Shaun’s ability to develop and understand project’s scope, schedule, budget, and quality allows him to proactively identify and resolve issues to achieve the client’s overall goals. He is able to effectively communicate and provide value-added solutions to maintain these critical elements. Shaun recognizes the value of building positive professional relationships to build a team atmosphere and successfully complete projects.

What is your personal motto?

Where is your favorite place to be?
My favorite place to be is Lake Chelan, WA, it’s a 52-mile-long freshwater lake that brings 300 days of sunshine per year, with great golfing, boating, fishing, and wineries. It’s a perfect place to relax and kick your feet up. My family recently built a vacation house in the area.
What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?
There are two certifications outside of work that I would like to accomplish are Real Estate and Pilot License.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you:
I have four children: Rylan, Reese, Rome, and River that I love very much! Spending time with each of them every day and watching them grow is the best.
Do you follow any sports teams?
I love all sports! I follow golf, NBA/College Basketball, and NFL/College Football. Currently, my favorite teams are the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Huskies Football Team.
What or who has been your biggest influence?
My Grandpa and friends. My Grandpa foremost. Since I was a boy I’ve spent many days on the river fishing with him, we continue that tradition to this day. He has taught me much about life. I also have a group of ten close friends who have been very influential. We’ve been friends since we were in elementary school and remain very close to this day. We push each other and our families enjoy spending time together.
