Jennifer Pyatkov

With a strong background in aviation management and stakeholder engagement, Jen skillfully navigates the complexities of large-scale airport operations, uniting diverse parties to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Her experience in the business and properties departments at major hub airports—including Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP) and Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX)—has equipped her to manage a wide range of complex issues involving airlines, air cargo operators, airport sponsors, and federal tenants.
In her role as the Airline Representative for the Metropolitan Washington Airlines Committee (MWAC) and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), Jen brings exceptional adaptability and a broad base of operational, business, and technical expertise to support aviation initiatives at both Washington Dulles (IAD) and Reagan National (DCA) airports. As a dynamic leader, she is adept at assembling and leveraging multidisciplinary teams, including financial experts, architects, and engineers, to advance project goals.
At JD, Jen has led major programs including the FAA’s Policy, Engineering, Analysis, and Research Support (PEARS II) contract, as well as on-call airport planning and large-scale project financial control initiatives. She is known for her ability to make insightful observations, foster consensus, and develop strategies that deliver impactful results for her clients.
Jen also served as Chair of the Airport Consultants Council Planning & Environmental Committee for the past two years. She has been recognized as one of Airport Business Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” and named among the “Top 50 Women in Business” by the Minneapolis–St. Paul Business Journal.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Jen values connection and community. Balancing her career with family life, she is actively involved with her children’s elementary school PTA and embraces opportunities for personal growth and connection.

What is the best part of your job?
Meeting people, building a robust network, and being a resource. If I don’t know the answer to something, I likely know someone who does and I enjoy solving problems. I also enjoy attending industry conferences.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love group fitness classes, and cooking and grilling as my creative outlet. I also love sitting outside on my deck drinking wine watching my husband and my kids play catch in the backyard. Sometimes I join them!
