James Hunter Mitchell Named in Top 40 Under 40 by Airport Business

Los Angeles, CA – Jacobsen|Daniels (J|D) is pleased to announce that James Hunter Mitchell, Senior GIS Consultant, was recognized by Airport Business as a 2020 Top 40 Under 40. The Airport Business’s annual Top 40 Under 40 highlights individuals from the airport and FBO industry for their contributions to the aviation industry. Mr. Mitchell is part of J|D’s Asset Management and Integrated Solutions group, widely regarded as industry leaders in GIS applications for airport clients.

Since the summer of 2017, Mr. Mitchell has provided program management and advisory services for the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) at Los Angeles International Airport, which will create consolidated rental car facilities, an automated people mover, and additional parking capacity along with improved access to and from the airport. His efforts have included supporting LAMP by creating dynamic maps that gives the LAMP team the power to visualize the Right-or-Way properties throughout acquisition and serves as a central data center for various elements of the LAMP team.
Mr. Mitchell has enabled his clients to efficiently share data across business units to more effectively solve their biggest problems. His web-applications have become essential tools, giving all parties instant access to up-to-date data, reducing the need for multiple layers, reports, and datasets.
