In light of the current global emergency that has been impacting every aspect of our lives, both personally and professionally, business is not “as usual” but Jacobsen|Daniels continues to serve the best interests of our staff and clients. The safety of our staff, clients, partners, and businesses is our utmost priority.

At J|D we often refer to The Journey, and the importance of how we move through it. The significance of how we and you move through this setback is more poignant than ever. We know from experience that there are silver linings to every dark cloud – we emerge from these situations stronger, better prepared, and more resilient. And sometimes great opportunities present themselves. J|D is here to assist. To support you in responding and maybe even simply enduring for now, but more importantly in recovering and flourishing on the backside of this crisis.

The recent past has taught us that aviation is if nothing else, resilient and necessary. Our industry could look different, but in the end, we are still moving people and goods – doing so running our airports with business acumen and a focus on customer service. Capital Program Realignment & Master Plan “Tune-ups”

  • Rightsizing and then re-engaging landside operations (parking, commercial curb, etc.)
  • Rightsizing and then re-engaging terminal functions (concessions, security, etc.)

Although things are changing on a daily basis, we have already made key operational changes and will continue to do so based on CDC recommendations. Here are some important things we want you to know:

J|D is still operational.

We are here for our clients and are dedicated to continuing our work for you. In order to continue this work and maintain the health and safety of our team and yours, we are limiting corporate travel and moving as much of work to virtual spaces as possible to adhere to the recommended social distancing policies.

Changes to how J|D is doing business.

You should expect to see changes in how we interact with our network and clients. We value your time and health, so while we strive to remain on schedule with projects and intend to maintain our relationships within the industry, we are moving previously scheduled in-person meetings with virtual meeting spaces and will communicate via phone, email, chat, and social media where possible.

Fly Away is missing our valued customers!

Our Fly Away Concessions location at Jackson Medgar-Wiley Evers International Airport are suspended:

  • Capital City Tavern
  • Mississippi Blues & Tap
  • Farish Street Market
  • Cup O’ Joe

Fly Away Valet Services are suspended at the following locations:

  • San Antonio International Airport
  • Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport
  • Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport
  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport

Fly Away Parking Services are also suspended at the following locations:

  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport
  • Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport
