Anderson joins J|D after 17 years of providing strategic development services as part of various government entities, including the Government of the District of Columbia, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, the United States Army and, most recently, Washington, D.C.’s Office of Unified Communications (311 & 911). She also served as a Chief Strategy Officer in the entrepreneurship centers at Howard University and Rutgers University.

In her new role, Anderson’s primary focus will be Information Technology, Legal, Risk/Compliance, Human Resources, including Performance Management, and acquisitions, and will be bringing a strategic focus to those functions and the organization, in its entirety.

Anderson holds a master’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Georgia, a bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Advertising from Howard University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). While serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Clayton County, Georgia, Anderson was recognized as “The Woman of the Year” and one of Georgia’s 100 Most Influential and Powerful Women by “Women Looking Ahead News” magazine.

Anderson serves in an elected position, as the Assistant Financial Secretary, for The Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is an Ambassador for the Chief Operating Officer Forum (COO-Forum), an active member of The International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP), and volunteers at Dress For Success (DFS), where she empowers women to be confident.
