Motown Greatest Hits Travel Shop is a marketplace that pays homage to the city’s iconic Motown legacy, harmonizing the soulful rhythms of its musical history with local brands and travel convenience. The shop offers travelers a taste of Detroit before they even leave the airport, creating a unique and memorable shopping experience that celebrates the cultural importance of Motown. The shop features a curated mix of travel essentials, snacks, and grab-and-go fare, including baked goods from local favorite Zingerman’s, alongside Motown-themed apparel, accessories, collectible vinyl, and collaborations like the Motown x Detroit Pistons collection. Travelers will also discover shop-in-shops of brands such as Bon Bon Bon, Détroit is the New Black, and Imagine Michigan.

WHSmith North America assembled a dynamic team of ACDBE and local partners. J|D played a key role in planning, merchandising, and construction management, working alongside Pady Regnier of Airport Retail Group and Roslyn Karamoko of Détroit is the New Black.

Travelers can visit Motown Greatest Hits Travel Shop, located inside the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport’s McNamara Terminal near Gate A21.
