Matthew Shaw

Matthew Shaw’s interest in aviation started like most, looking up at the sky in his backyard and contemplating the wonders of aviation. By happenstance, in the summer of 1997,hestarted his aviation career when a college professor connected him with a colleague for an internship with Northwest Airlines at Detroit Metropolitan Airport on the Midfield Gateway project, later to be named the McNamara Terminal. The next five years set the foundation for his career which spanned working for two additional airlines and living in Orlando, FL, Anchorage, AK, and Seattle, WA.
His 27-year career has spanned a range of design and construction projects for airlines and airport tenants including everything from minor ticket counter improvements to major terminal renovation and expansion projects and luxury lounges. He has supported the business side of aviation engaging in airport/airline use agreements, facility lease agreements, and other business-critical efforts.

I love to travel and being a part of creating the traveling experience is motivating and exciting.
