Airport Synergy Group Finalizes Agreement with TBITEC to Provide Property and Management Services at LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal & West Gates and Terminals 5 and 1.5

Los Angeles, CA – Jacobsen|Daniels (J|D) is pleased to announce that Airport Synergy Group (ASG) finalized an agreement with Tom Bradley International Terminal Equipment Company, Inc. (TIBITEC) to provide operations, maintenance and support services at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) & West Gates and Terminals 5 and 1.5, work started on May 1, 2022. ASG — a joint venture between Jacobsen|Daniels, Avports, and Consolidated Management Professionals – leverages extensive industry and consortium expertise of each partner to offer professional management and oversight of airline consortia, and professional property and equipment management services for airline equipment at the terminal building and ramp areas.

The joint venture manages and oversees a range services at the LAX Terminals, including:

  • Operations and maintenance of airport, passenger and aircraft equipment and facilities
  • Financial management and administration
  • Risk management, including safety and loss control
  • Engineering services
  • Stakeholder management and communications
  • Gate allocation

Airport Synergy Group leverages the collective efforts of three highly experienced and successful airport and airline services management companies, operating as a single entity, to bring an unprecedented and unparalleled option for consortium management to the industry. ASG brings more than 120 years of collective experience in commercial-aviation operations, including: airline consortia, aviation consulting, technical representative and tenant representation services, facility management, airport facility operations, airport passenger properties management, consortium administration, GSE maintenance, station management, construction management, and professional service contract oversight.

TBITEC is a California Not-For-Profit Company formed by Member Airlines of the Los Angeles International Airport. The consortium was established for the purpose of constructing, installing, operating, and maintaining select airline equipment and systems, and for providing other operations, maintenance, and support services to the airlines at the Tom Bradley International Terminal & West Gates and Terminal 5 and 1.5 of LAX.

Airline consortium members include American Airlines, Spirit Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Volaris, Hawaiian, Qantas Airways Limited, Lufthansa German Airlines, Air France / KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Avianca, Delta Airlines, Allegiant Travel Company, EVA Airways, Air New Zealand, Air China, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, All Nippon Airways Co., Virgin Australia, Asiana Airlines, Korean Airlines, China Eastern, Philippine Airlines, LAN Airlines, Frontier Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Air Tahiti Nui, Emirates Airline, China Airline, Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Fiji Airways Limited, QATAR Airways, Hong Kong Airlines Limited, Iberia, El Al Israel Airlines, Aeromexico, and Virgin Atlantic.
