Mr. Miller is an exception leader with over 10 years of experience in the parking industry. After a successful career in hospitality parking management, his Jacobsen|Daniels journey began in December 2019 when he opened the San Antonio Airport Fly Away Valet operation. Currently he serves as the General Manager over all of J|D’s valet and parking operations overseeing a team of 10 front line managers and 110 front line employees.

How did you join J|D?
My career with J|D started in December 2019 at the San Antonio Airport where I opened our first valet operation as a prime operator.
What advice would you give someone starting out in this industry?
The Aviation industry has many opportunities from planning, parking, concessions, construction to name a few. Be open minded to networking, learning and exploring new opportunities that are outside of your scope because it will open doors for your future.
What professional project are you most proud of?
The opening of the San Antonio Airport Valet operation as this was our first prime contract agreement but also how we grew the business in less than 2 years to a self-sustainable parking operation.

What is your favorite snack or food?
Nacatamale and Café Presto coffee
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Hiking or a biking on a quite scenic trail.
What would your perfect weekend look like?
Sleeping in and binge-watching Netflix.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Cayman Islands spending time with family.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Corn Islands in Nicaragua. One of the secret beach treasures in Central America.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Disc Jockey for the local radio station.
What’s a cause that you are passionate about?
Honor Flights – This is an event hosted at airports by some great nonprofits that honors veterans from World War II, terminally ill veterans, and Korean War veterans with a life-changing trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials and experience a day of honor and thanks.
What type of entertainment do you enjoy?
I appreciate live music at a festival or concert.
