LAWA: Program Management Advisory Services
Jacobsen|Daniels Innovative Solutions Propel LAWA’s Capital Improvement Vision Forward
Building upon our success and relationships from the Landside Access Modernization Program, Jacobsen|Daniels was selected to provide Program Management Advisory Services (PMAS) to Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in support of its Capital Improvement Program. Responsibilities included stakeholder coordination, outreach program facilitation transportation studies, preliminary design of project work, real estate management, and Geographical Information System (GIS) database construction and coordination. Additionally, Jacobsen|Daniels provided program definition documents for the ITF-West Garage Program and the Avis Rent-A-Car Lot reconfiguration. Transportation studies included bus operation requirements, ground transportation solutions, parking demand/capacity analysis and the five-year parking plan for LAX.
By understanding the unique and dynamic nature of construction at LAX, and leveraging our experience in strategic, landside, terminal, and airside planning, J|D helped LAWA develop Key Performance Indicators and a dashboard that displays the information necessary to determine whether LAWA’s and stakeholders are achieving their objectives.
Accomplishments
- Developed Rental Car and ITF-W Program Definition Documents
- Provided Real Estate Management and Acquisition support services to the commercial development group in support of the LAMP Program
- Conducted in depth parking analysis to meet both public and employee demand along with a parking asset redistribution plan.
- Developed Key Performance Indicators and dashboard for California Transit Association (CTA).
- Providing Program Management support to the Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility team through design and construction.
- Led team of diverse consultants and subject matter experts in a dynamic on-call environment.
