Beginning in 2019, the new Valet Parking service introduced a new amenity for at SAT, and has been a celebrated part of its customer service offerings. The customer experience features:

• Convenient and closest parking to the terminals
• Luggage assistance
• Bottled water
• Complimentary front window cleaning and front interior vacuuming
• Contactless transaction, including remote options
• Online Reservation System

During this contract, J|D worked with the Airport to successfully navigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, closing the operation from April 2020 through December 2021. Since reopening, the operation has seen increased demand driven by customer apprecation for the premium product. This has led to the airport providing more spaces dedicated to the Fly Away Valet operation.

J|D works with SAT’s ground transportation and marketing teams to actively find ways to improve customer experience, from working to identify and communicate parking and network changes, to working collaboratively to market the service.

J|D managed every aspect of the new service implementation from planning, design, construction, and operations. This turn-key project delivery ensured seamless transition from one phase to the next, which saved SAT Airport time and money.
